About Polatechno products tech info Quality & Environment
Leveraging the technology we have nurtured over many years in LCD polarizers, Polatechno is branching out into non-LCD applications, developing and supplying a range of materials with optical functionality.

Transfer film Organic EL circular polarizer
Polatechno uses the term transfer film to refer to film that consists of an adhesive sandwiched between two separators. The separators can be peeled off and the adhesive used to attach various components.

We supply transfer film for use with a range of materials with optical functionality, leveraging our adhesive compounds, coating technology, and lineup of adhesives possessing various optical properties, durability, and material characteristics, including adhesives developed by Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd.

Colored adhesives handle situations where color adjustment functionality is required, particularly when used in PDP front panels (optical filters).
Our transfer film can be used to attach a range of materials with optical functionality, including hologram products, touch panel components, and displays for handheld game machines.
Circular polarizers (composites of polarizers and PC retardation film) are used in the surfaces of organic EL displays in order to prevent cell electrode reflection and improve visibility.
Colored circular polarizers are also used in order to reduce leakage of certain wavelengths.
Bare polarized film for polarized sunglasses
Each lens in polarized sunglasses is made up of a film of PVA polarized molecules sandwiched between two lenses.
We provide meticulous support for the hues and pigmentation levels popular with general consumers.
Winter sports goggles 3-D movie glasses Optical filter
Polarizers for goggles are treated with a hard coating to prevent scratching on the outer lens surfaces.
The inner lens surfaces of some goggles also come with anti-fogging treatment.
Polarizers, in which the polarization axes have been shifted 90 degrees to the right and left, are used as glasses at 3-D amusement park movie theaters where audiences view 3-D images. PVA retardation film is used as an optical filter for optical cameras, telescopes and binoculars.
